This May newsletter finds the folks at the Nissen Trampoline Company not only trying to get used to their new surroundings and new co-employees, but a brand new product line as well.

With a full 225 employees now on board, it's finally become necessary to designate and rely on committees for help with internal communications and resolution of potential problems. Even the Nissen newsletter (which up to this point has been the solo responsibility of Bob Bevenour) now has a committee to help share the news gathering and printing efforts.
In my personal opinion, when compared to previous Nissen newsletters, this first "newsletter by committee" comes with a more serious tone, a tad too much typing and not enough photos... I can assure you that by next month they are back to publishing lively news with lots of interesting photos.
Interesting note: Just count the many locations around the world that my father George Nissen and his V.P. Bob Bevenour now had to keep track of:
USA, England, Canada, New Zealand and Switzerland.
It's no wonder a little typo slipped by... can you spot the incorrect "1960" on the masthead?
Should be May 1961!
Barely having recovered from the Russian Olympic Gymnastic Team's recent visit, a several day convention was organized for Nissen sales distributors. They learned about the new products, my father's future plans and followed along as he proudly showed off the chrome tanks on one of his famous "factory tours."
A page devoted to employee "newsy news."
Luckily for us readers, it was a one-time idea!
